Nestled in the heart of Nuwara Eliya town, Victoria Park is renowned for hosting an array of hard-to-spot and rare bird species that can be enjoyed with a short walk around. The Nanu Oya, which crisscrosses the park creating several small lakes, undoubtedly elevates its scenic charm. Originally serving as the research field for Hakgala Botanical Garden, it was formally named to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
